Some Guidelines on How to Take a Picture!

1)  Use a digital camera.

2) PosterMeUp.com recommends a camera with a minimum of six mega pixels resolution, although cameras as low as 3 mega pixels have work at times.  Ideally for most 24" "GO BIG" Products the 6 mega pixels camera and above will work nicely.

3)  A digital SLR camera which has a resolution of 8 mega pixels and higher works the best.  Shooting raw format for 48" or larger "GO BIG" products is ideal but definitely not necessary.  As a general rule when storing your file in .jpg format a 2 megabyte file to 4 megabyte file works for 24" "GO BIG" products and an 8 megabyte and above work for the 48" "GO BIG" products.

4) If you don't know your camera's resolution look on the outside of it, often it has a sticker telling you the resolution size.   Otherwise read the manual and look for resolution size in the table of contents or index.

5) The original photo quality and size will dictate the clarity of the file.   PosterMeUp specialist will review and advise on what will work and produce top quality clarity in the "GO BIG" product.

6) When shooting the photo attempt to make the image to "GO BIG" in as much of the picture as possible.  Try to reduce all the background picture.

7) Remember, If all else fails just send us the photo and we'll tell you if it works and for what sizes!
